Statement Necklace

I bought this Statement necklace and matching earrings and bangle from a family friend late last year.  I love to support people with side hustles so when she turned up at our family event with her “for sale” bag, I didn’t hesitate to look.  My eyes landed on this set.

I don’t know its origins, but it has an African vibe about it that I absolutely loved.  Here I am wearing it with a strapless black dress and a cheetah print scarf .  I wore it to work last Friday with dark wash jeans and a black jacket on.  (See photo below)

Sorry about the quick post.  Things are going to be really hectic this week and I’m hoping that I will be able to catch up on Wednesday while I am  home watching the IFB Conference from the comfort of my couch (My laptop has an HDMI port that I am connecting to my television…).  I will be in New York City on Thursday Night and Friday Night for bloggers events though.  If my posts are even more sparse than usual, this is why.

I hope you enjoy the blogger’s night out activities on Thursday and Friday night! How I wish I could be in NYC for Fashion Week. Be sure to tell us all about it! 🙂

    • The Thursday event is a “Blogger’s of Color” event. Friday is BNO. I said I wasn’t going to do it again, but I’ll be going back and forth to New York City from Connecticut. STREESSSSSSS!! You should plan on coming up for the Fall one. Seeing people online and meeting them in person is very different…
