Minty Green Jacket and Lavender Dress

SPRING 2012 TREND ALERT =====>>>> I am not big on trends or pastels but I am sooooooo in love with this minty green color that is dominating everything for Spring.  When I look at this pale, seafoamy, mintilicious hue of green I feel a sense of…calm.  Mint is a shade that is flattering to most skin tones, including my cinnamon toned complexion.  It also works well with most of the hues already in my closet (Note: definitely not yellow;  looks absolutely stunning when paired with red and navy).

I saw a few bloggers minting it out on their blogs last week and inspired, I added mint colored skinny jeans to my list of major must haves.  I wandered into Dots over the weekend and stumbled upon this leatherette mint green jacket on the clearance rack (original price $39.99 and marked down to $14.00 SCORE!!!).   I rocked my mint with a lavender dress and tan booties from my closet.  So ready for Spring!

Come on over to Pinterest and take a look at my minty inspiration board!

I am wearing:

Jacket: Minty Green PU Jacket from Dots

Dress: Ann Taylor lavender dress  (similar here)

    • Yes, Maam. I think Pinterest rolled out coding so that those who want to, can prevent people from pinning images from their sites. But for the most part (Facebook being one of the exceptions that I am aware of) you can pin images from ANYWHERE on the web.

  4. LOVE the mint color chica! That leather jacket is devine! 🙂
