Turquoise Blouse and Red Pants

I did a lot writing in my last post, so I am going to keep this one short and simple. This is what I wore to work, yesterday.

I am wearing:
Blouse: Found this turquoise top at Marshalls. (Similar here: Paperwhite – L/S Wing Collar Non-Iron Shirt (Turquoise) – Apparel)
Pants: Yep, these are the Express Columnist pants in red (and apparently no longer available).

Ossie took these photos.

    • Hi Donna,
Lol, my closet looks like a candy store. Green, royal blue, peach and red. I acquired my first colored bottom back in December and it convinced me that I could definitely do the color thing. My hair: frustration. I big chopped in 2010. Reverted 6 months later and actually loved the short style. When it grew back, I cut it into this chin length bang. I am struggling a bit with my bang, however. I actually asked my stylist to cut my bang this way, but its not working the way I thought it would so don’t be surprised if my hair changes again in the next few weeks.

  5. oooh I really like those two colors together. I forget to pair the two myself until I see some else do it. I think I’m going to try it some time soon. I’ll make sure I refer back to this post!

    • Lol, Sheila. I am glad I inspired this look. I could only pair the top with black pants which would be expected or go big and bold by pairing it with red. (-:

  6. Most amazing red pants ever. If I ever find a pair of red pants that fit me, they will be mine, mine, MINE! Oops, did I say that out loud?

    • I was searching for red pants forever. I found one at the end of last year at Macys’, but it was a stretch denim material. I happened into Express on my last trip to the mall a few weeks ago and they had a bunch of the red columnist on the sale rack. My only complaint was that the ones that fit without giving me a camel toe , were size 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The horror! I am NOT writing another post about how my size has gone up or doing another closet clean out so I bought one month of a fitness bootcamp from living social. Looks like Express is carrying junior sizes or I really need to say no to guava jelly.

  7. Oh Natasha! I love the electric blue paired with the red! These trousers fit you like a dream! Lovely!
