Just a quick post to share what I wore on Wednesday, Independence Day.
I am wearing:
I am wearing a red white and floral dress (Marshalls). My top is pretty heavy so I added the white jacket (Dress Barn), with the hopes that it would help take the attention from the girls. I know an outfit like this is probably the last place that you would expect to see a bold statement necklace like the one I am wearing, but I figured, why not! I wore the converses for comfort sakes. I think adding strappy heeled sandals would have given this a more dressier look, but it was Independence Day and I was going for comfort.
Ossie took these photos!
As always, thanks for stopping by. Feel free to share your thoughts and/or comments on how you disguise your “problem” areas below.

CUUUUUUUUUTE! I’m not usually a fan of the Chucks on women (though I did wear them when I was 15), but in this case, they really work! They make that super-feminine frock a little more edgy. Love that!

Ouch! Chucks have been around forever, but I am glad that people are taking an interest in them again. This is my first pair. I am wearing them a lot because I have a yet to be diagnosed problem with my ankle so this and an old pair of guess sneakers and my sandals have become my go to shoes for this summer. When I do wear heels I try not to stand or walk in them for a long time or a long distance or there will be pain and of lately swelling. By coincidence CitizenRosebud shared your post today about why flats aren’t sexy. Since I am home this weekend, I think I’ll go on the prowl on pinterest etc for sexy flats and try to do a post on the same next week.

Do freaking cute! You make the converse work with this pretty summer dress. Love it!
