My hope is to inspire you to make spring’s most popular color fresh again for winter. Admittedly I didn’t pay a lot for this dress, but it would have defeated the purpose and concept of cost per wear if I allowed it to continue to hang in my closet without taking it for another wear. It’s an event dress after all and now that the holiday season is officially here, I thought this was a perfect dress to update for events. To make this dress holiday ready, I updated the look with metallic accessories, a faux fur vest and boots to make the dress both festive and seasonal.
WHAT I AM WEARING:
Dress: Mint green, high, low hem dress from H&M (click link to see how I wore it for Spring)
Accessories: Gold watch from Francesca’s Collection
Gold pouch: Believe it or not, this was in one of my swag bag gifts from Bloggers Night Out in New York City earlier this year.
Necklace: Bronze necklace from Sparkles Jewelry
Boots: black knee high boots from JustFab
Belt: Black wide belt from Rainbow stores
Vest: Faux fur vest from Macys

Hi Nicole.
Thanks for stopping by and for leaving a comment on my blog. I think just the same that we are challenging the white after labor day rule that we should also challenge the season appropriate color palette rule. I am looking for bright yellow skinny pants to rock this winter.

Ok so the perfect polish to go with this ensemble is by Sinful Colors Professional and it’s called #947 Mint Apple.
One of my Fav’s too. Hey, you inspired me. I wanna rock my mint apple nails now. I just don’t have a lot of mint in my wardrobe as of yet…but it’s coming thanks to you. #BLMBlogHop

I am glad I inspired you. I haven’t tried mint nails yet. I am rocking yellow nails right now. I am gonna have to search for that color though. Thanks for the recommendation. (-:
Very cute outfit. Mint green happens to be one of my favorite colors, so I am inspired indeed!

Hi Eva. Thanks so much. I can tell by your gmail account that you are an island woman like myself. (-;
I love the way you put this outfit together. I never thought about how pretty it would look to rock the spring colors in the cool of the winter! Awesome!

Thanks Mylah. My biggest motivation for pulling this out again was the CPW (cost per wear). I’ve only worn this dress once since I picked it up in Philly earlier this year.
Very cute fit! Way to pull everything together! Get it GIRL…

Love it! Don’t know if I could rock the fur though! The dress and shoes for sure! Thanks for the holiday ideas
Lawd Tresha. Its faux fur. I hope by pointing that out that you would reconsider fur. (-:
I absolutely love your mint to winter look Natasha and I remember this dress very much from the mint and red post. I love it on you! It looks great with the fur vest and boots!
