Life Ball 2013 atmosphere

I couldn’t resist sharing these press photographs of the 2013 Life Ball which was held on Saturday in Vienna, Austria. The event is organized by AIDS LIFE, which was co-founded in 1992 by Gery Keszler and Torgam Petrosian. The event, which raises funds for HIV and AIDS research, is the biggest charity event of its kind in Europe.

The theme of this year’s event was ‘1001 [Arabian] nights.’ Designer Roberto Cavalli, who was the events guest of honor presented a special runway show which featured some of his most famous creations as well as pieces from his latest collections.

A MINI Cooper personalized by Roberto Cavalli was also auctioned and sold for 150.000 euros at the event.

    • You and me both!!! This was a major fundraiser though and I assume tickets for these types of events would require about 6 months of my salary. However, I am happy for the people who are blessed and subsequently was able to donate to this great cause.

  3. This looks like it must have been amazingly fun! Is it bad that the photos made me think of Disney/Aladdin? Ha! Hope you had a good weekend!
