What I Wore: Quilted Jacket and Flared Skirt!

IMG_6129

Yep, I was all bundled up in this quilted jacket and flared skirt that I wore to work on Monday. When the temperature dropped below freezing, I draped a spare scarf that I keep in my desk to help keep my core warm. The scarf wasn’t big enough to cover both my neck and my torso, and because the jacket is collarless, I added this neck muff thing that I picked up at H&M last week.  Even with all of this, I was still freezing.  Maybe it was because I was surrounded by people who were walking around dressed as if it was still the middle of summer. I will never understand this!

  1. Love the quilted jacket. Looks great on you and I love short jackets. For some reason I think it makes my legs look longer! (Well, I can dream can’t I?)

I saw Neville last week at WineOn9. I am so hoping to make it to one of his sewing classes!

    • Ha! I never knew that a short jacket could give that effect. Then again, people always assume that I am tall until they meet me in person. Lol! I haven’t even touched Neville’s post yet. I just finished writing another extremely long one (also New Haven focused) that I will hopefully be able to post before I leave. (-:

  2. Lots of layering and it all works. You look Great My Sista.

    • Thanks Neti. And wouldn’t you know that the temperature creeped back up to the 60’s yesterday and today. Living in New England, boy I tell you!

  3. I’m diggin that skirt!
