I am surprised that this boucle knit and collarless cardigan thing wasn’t more popular this season. The material is warm, and whimsical and the collarless cardigan just gives everything I pair it with (I’ve worn it like 10-times since I bought it earlier this month) an upscale, ladies who do tea feel.
I paired it with my favorite printed sheath dress, black tights and boots for work on Monday.
By the way shout out to Naja Diamond for her rant on Instagram about people who throw low grade shade at her because she leaves her house consistently looking fly. Apparently, she grew tired of the “If I had more time,” and “If I didn’t have kids” comments. I don’t know about you but now that I am 41, I try hard, especially on Mondays and Wednesdays to look my best. It helps me to maintain a positive attitude to get over the “Mondays” and helps me to get past the “oh my God there is still two more days before Friday” hump on Wednesdays.
Picking out your outfit from the night before and spending 5 extra minutes to add makeup during the morning is not time consuming and wont make you a selfish mother.
What I Am Wearing:
Dress: Zebra print sheath dress from Dress Barn (old) | Cardigan: Boucle knit cardigan from H&M | Scarf: Hot pink pashmina scarf (street vendor, New York City) | Purse: Bowling bag from Asos | Boots: Bandolino Cyrene riding boots from Macys
