I found these Talbot’s ladies, plaid bermuda shorts at my local Savers this summer when I went thrifting with my older sister. I was drawn to the color and the print but when I hoisted them for inspection the first thing that came to mind was that they looked like boy shorts. I bought them anyways!
I paired them with my favorite red sweater which I bought from H&M way back when before they became the “it” store and my red high top sneakers that I got for practically nothing from Shoedazzle.com.
I wore this outfit when I went to cover the Macy’s Fall Fashion show in Albany, New York. I always wear comfortable shoes and apparel that allow me to stand on something or squat if needed whenever I cover events. No sitting pretty for me in the front row of events. I post to social media, take notes and work the canon whenever I cover events.
Because the shorts were so boyish, I wore makeup and topped it all off with a classic red lip.
What I Wore:
Shorts: Bermuda shorts thrifted (Savers) | Top: 3/4 sleeve knitted top (H&M) | High top wedge sneakers (Shoedazzle.com) | Lipsticke: Ruby Woo by Mac Cosmetics
