Feeling Pretty In Pink

I think fuchsia is the right shade of pink for a woman of my age. Pastel pinks are for Easter and little girls. The color is vibrant and goes well with my cinnamon brown complexion.

What I am wearing:
I bought this skater dress earlier this year from Asos to wear to a Valentines Day dance. I opted for this vibrant color in lieu of the expected red. I wore it last Friday to my social club’s monthly birthday party because we were asked to wear pink to help raise awareness to breast cancer. It’s a backless dress which I couldn’t show in this photo because I opted to wear a regular bra with in in lieu of the silicone stick on one that I bought specifically to wear with this dress. I also opted for ankle boots in lieu of these open toe sandals, because open toe was just not the right selection on that very cold night.
