I’m showing A LOT of legs in today’s outfit post. This is a no, no for women who are of a certain age, according to mainstream media. Well, I happen to be in that “certain age” range; but this little dress held my interest when I spotted it on the racks of my area American Apparel store and I fell in love with it after I tried it on. My leg’s are pretty firm and are still vein free so I figured, why not! I think this should be the rule regardless of your age.
This dress has gotten me through a few reggae events this year and was one of my outfits during this years BlogHer event held in New York City. It’s a no-iron type material which made it no brainer for traveling. Last week, I paired it with a leather A-line skirt, tucked it in, and wore it to another local Caribbean event. Apparently, you can also winterize it by adding long sleeves under it and I am pretty sure that this would look great if worn as a tunic over skinny jeans. You can dress it up or down through your choice of shoes. I’ve worn them with stiletto’s, chunky heels, sneakers as well as ankle boots. I am still waiting on my
